Corner Weighting
To measure the corner weights of a car it must first be set on a dead level surface and all side thrusts removed from the suspension. The Anti roll bars are removed and the weight on each wheel is measured. This can then be adjusted by raising or lowering the spring on it the adjustable platform of the coil over. The weight distribution can then be altered to better balance the car. Using corner weights and a bit of maths the cars centre of gravity can be found which can be used when developing the cars chassis to further improve the handling characteristics.
