Driver Training
There’s precious little to be gained from developing your car if you don’t know how to drive it. As we said before, you measure drivers in seconds. Even the very fastest race drivers are so busy going quickly they may not notice small bad habits. These bad habits may be worth precious hundredths of a second and be well worth ironing out. Drivers new to racing or out for the first time at a track day will benefit most. Basic training will teach you car control and an understanding of the cars behaviour. It may even save you from an expensive accident.
Applied Auto Sports owner Mark Hammersley is an ARDS registered instructor and has been instructing for 12 years. He can accompany you on track days or to test days to see where improvements can be made. Thanks to in car footage and data logging some people may even benefit simply from some time at the computer, so avoiding the cost of instructing at a circuit. Whatever your needs call us and have a chat. We love motorsport and we’d love to help.
